State of the evidence
Full-length thymosin beta-4 has completed phase 1 safety trials and small phase 2 trials in dry eye disease and venous ulcers; no human efficacy trials identified for musculoskeletal, tendon or athletic recovery indications. TB-500 is a synthetic partial fragment and has not itself been studied in published human trials.
